This four-door compact sedan can be found in one of five trim levels: S, SE, R-Line, SEL or SEL Premium. All five trims are motivated by the same powertrain, a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 1.4-liter engine. This powertrain generates 147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. 2019 Jetta S models come standard with a six-speed manual transmission system, though an eight-speed automatic transmission system is also available and comes standard on all higher trims.
