NHTSA Five-Star Rated 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack

Not everyone can be an automotive expert, with so many other things in life to catch your eyes and interest. If you’re not surrounding yourself with industry news every day, you could be missing out on what you really need to know when it comes time to buy a new car. There is quite a bit out there when it comes to flashy new technology, and a whole lot of automakers that earn initial quality scores that don’t hole up over time. It isn’t worth the latest and greatest features if your vehicle won’t keep you safe in an emergency. This is why we’re pleased to announce the NHTSA Five-Star Rated 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack has been tried and tested, and has come out on top when it comes to what your family needs most.

What is the NHTSA and what does it test for?

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is the government agency behind the New Car Assessment Program. Basically, the people behind the scenes are running all new cars through a series of tests each year, and ranking them based on a five-star system to allow you to quickly and easily find out which models are safest for your family. The crash tests include front, side and rollover ratings, and then vehicles are given scores for each as well as an overall ranking. The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack earned a five-star overall ranking, four-stars for both the rollover and front crash tests and a five-star ranking for side crashes.
