As most may know, Volkswagen is all for innovation with their vehicles and trying to push technology further. To help their goal of building more sustainable vehicles, Volkswagen has created the ID.3, which is a host of ground-breaking design, impressive driving dynamics and spacious interior design. There is a lot to learn about the Volkswagen ID.3, so keep reading to see what is so impressive.

First fully electric model
The Volkswagen ID.3 was specifically designed for electric drive use based on the new modular electric drive matrix (MEB). There will be three battery sizes available that include a large-sized battery (77 kWh), a medium battery (58 kWh) and a small-sized battery (45 kWh). Drivers can expect to have a charging time of 30 minutes and the ability to drive up to 341 miles per charge.

When can we expect to see the Volkswagen ID.3?
Although we are learning more about the Volkswagen ID.3, we will not be seeing it on American soil for a bit. Production of the Volkswagen ID.3 is set to start toward the end of 2019 and the first vehicles will be set to arrive for purchase around mid-2020 in Germany.
